The work of my* mission traces its origin back to a meeting between Jon, Eddie and Mark. Jon and Eddie, as successful businessmen, were looking for partners in aid work for south-east Asia. Mark, as a College principal, was looking for an international project that would help students from the iPod generation recognise that ‘it is more blessed to give than receive.’
Since that meeting in 2005, the work that was begun continued to expand and develop. This led to the need for a more formal and structured process and my* mission was established as an incorporated association. The early work focused on orphanages, and then expanded into well construction, water tanks, the provision of toilets, community centre support and mission teacher sponsorship.
