1. to raise funds for distribution into south-east Asian mission projects. This would include but not be limited to: orphanages, wells, water tanks, widow support, mission teacher sponsorship, community centre support;
  2. allow for Gilson College to be involved with assisting mission work in south-east Asia through a program of fund raising, prayer, and practical mission activities;
  3. to have students learn to appreciate the blessings of giving and serving others in need;
  4. reinforce the principles of stewardship and acts of service for the poor;  (Matt 25:25)
  5. provide students the opportunity for short-term mission experiences and for Christian service in God’s kingdom (Matt 28:19);
  6. to bring others to Christ;
  7. to maintain a non-political stance in all mission work and projects undertaken;
  8. ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, requirements and agreements and operate in a professional and ethical manner;
  9. pursue through itself or other such commercial arrangements, including sponsorship and marketing, opportunities as are appropriate to further the purpose of the association;
  10. co-operate or join with or support any club, association, organisation, society, individual whose activities or purposes are similar to those of the Association or which advance the purpose of the association;
  11. have regard to the public interest in its operations; and
  12. undertake and or do all such things or activities as are necessary, incidental or conducive to the advancement of the purpose of the association.
